Values for a Lifetime

I am continually amazed at the diversity that exists among the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese. Since beginning my duties in July, I have had the pleasure of visiting over 65 of our Catholic schools. These schools have varied from the inner cities of Dayton and Cincinnati to the small towns of the country. I have been flabbergasted at the differences between the locations and populations served by our schools. Each school seems to have its own unique identity and culture.

In spite of these differences, all of our schools are built upon the same basic principles and faith identity. Regardless of the location, each Catholic school I have visited prides itself on the quality of its spiritual and academic programs. No matter where our schools are located and who they are serving, the mission remains the same: to educate the children of God in an atmosphere where students are valued and validated. I hope you share my appreciation for the diversity among our schools and the populations they serve!
