The Archdiocese of Cincinnati Catholic Schools are committed to providing current and potential families with up-to-date information about the news and activities within our schools. To accomplish this, we are actively using social media tools in addition to traditional forms of communication. You can now easily follow us on Facebook and we appreciate your comments on our blog.

Teacher Appreciation Week

This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. Many of our Catholic schools have planned events to recognize the hard work and dedication of our talented teachers, administrators, and staff members. These events are meant to convey a sense of support and gratitude for the innumerable ways these individuals support the education of our students.

The importance and value of our Catholic school teachers cannot be understated. Our schools have achieved national acclaim for their excellence. Our schools are successful because our teachers are some of the finest in the country. They possess the passion, work ethic, and deep faith to compassionately care for our children every day. Although the hours are long, the work is daunting, and the pay is less than optimal, our teachers truly embrace the vocation of Catholic education.

Our teachers are truly the arms and legs of Christ in our Catholic schools. Having visited all 113 of our Catholic schools, I have been incredibly impressed and moved by the talent of our teachers. It is immensely gratifying to see our students flourish because of the time and care of our educators.

To our Catholic School Teachers: I cannot thank you enough for your presence in our schools. May God continue to bless and renew you and you live out Christ’s call to educate his people.
