Badin High School, named for missionary priest Stephen T. Badin (the first priest ordained in the United States), opened in the fall of 1966. It represented the merger of the all-boys school, Hamilton Catholic (founded in 1909), and its all-girls counterpart, Notre Dame High (founded in 1887). Badin's comprehensive curriculum welcomes all who want to attend. It includes Advanced Placement/honors, advanced college prep, college prep and general courses.
