Welcome to St. Charles Borromeo School. We are honored to have you visit with us. I am very proud of our faculty, staff and students and all they accomplish every school year. There are several points I would like you to consider as you tour with us today. Notice how well St. Charles Borromeo School prepares our students academically for a lifetime of success. As evidence of this, I can point to the school’s accreditation, talented faculty, student progress on standardized tests, and the scores our students receive on high school placement tests. You will see wonderful examples of our academic strengths as you visit with us. Our staff and faculty are trained to provide excellent care for your child. Our students are safe. We value each student at St. Charles, and their happiness matters to us. Our staff and faculty reach out to care for each child in the most sincere, compassionate, and loving manner possible. As a Catholic school, we don’t view the faith life of your child as separate from his or her regular academic learning. Over the last two years alone, our graduating eighth grade class has proven its strength in academic high school entrance exams. Last year 16 of our students scored in the top 10% of the nation. This year we had 15 students in the top 10% once again. The strength of our teachers and the determination of ourstudents keeps us striving for excellence. “Take Charge of your Future!”

Our music department, lead by Mr. Samudio, received the MTI Excellence in Performance Award. This award now means that we are now a National Broadway Junior School of Excellence. With Aladdin Jr. and Pirates musicals under his belt Mr. Samudio makes St. Charles a spectacular school of the arts. Not only does he produce musicals, he has a show choir that travels and performs and a youth choir. To top it off, he is a creative and innovative music teacher, taking our music department to a level above the rest!
