St. Jude is located on the west side of Cincinnati, Ohio, on Bridgetown Road. St. Jude School provides Catholic elementary education for boys and girls in grades K through 8. Our school places strong emphasis on the acquisition of Catholic Christian attitudes, academic achievement, and self-discipline. St. Jude School has as its goal the development of the whole child, spiritually, academically, physically, socially, and emotionally. We believe the the educational process embraces the total upbringing of the child. Therefore, St. Jude School shares responsibility with the parents in the development of attitudes and values that enable each child to grow and attain his/her highest potential at each stage of life.
St. Jude offers half-day kindergarten. For consistency, the same teacher teaches the morning and afternoon sessions. For those looking for a full day program, St. Jude also offers an Extended Day Kindergarten Program for an additional fee. There will be a maximum class size of 20 students per session.

In September, 1958, after decades of work establishing a parish and a parish school on the west side of Cincinnati, St. Jude School opened its doors for the first time, welcoming 643 children. Tuition was just $25 per year, and the school’s administrator was Sister Melithon. In 1962, the school physical plant was expanded by eleven classrooms and an auditorium. On September 20, 1970, our new Church was dedicated, and within the year, the old church was transformed into a gymnasium and a library. In September, 2006, a new Parish Center was dedicated. This building houses a gymnasium, state-of-the art computer lab,a vibrant library, music and art classrooms, as well as meeting rooms and storage.
As a Catholic faith community, St. Jude School is dedicated to interacting with and supporting families by providing an atmosphere which allows students to develop spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Through instruction appropriate to developmental levels and to varied learning styles, knowledge in the Catholic faith, basic skills, academic subjects, and computer literacy will be acquired. Students will be expected to become literate, self-disciplined, faith-filled, and knowledgeable in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, equipped with the tools necessary to succeed as good citizens in the 21st century.
