Tuition

My daughter took the entrance test for McNicholas High School and was accepted with Honors (top 10%).  I applied for financial assitance being a single mother and was given a $1,500.00 discount on the $8,500.00 tuition.  I currently work one full time job and a part time job and am looking for additional part time jobs to maybe possibly be able to send her to McNick.  Can anyone tell lme exactly how a single parent can afford to send their kids on to a Catholic High School for a better education?  Any ideas as to where I might be able to apply for any additional financial assistance?  My daughter attended a Catholic grade school and does NOT want to have to go to Glen Este.  She has taken 2 years of Latin and received the 2nd highest grade on the National Latin Exam.  Any assistance and or suggestions would be appreicated, http://www.livedominas.com/livechat/.

Tuition

“Archbishop McNicholas awards financial aid according to the guidelines provided by the Private School Aid Service that ranks all applicants based on need.  Unfortunately, in this current economy, there are many more applicants for financial assistance than there are funds to meet the needs.  The question is not uncommon, but we have awarded all the monies we have for financial assistance at this time, and there are no more available.  We appreciate the considerable sacrifices made by parents to send their daughters and sons to quality Catholic schools, and McNicholas continues to make every effort to keep the quality high while controlling the tuition costs as much as possible.”
